Meet Megan

I’m a Digital Strategist and Online Business Manager who specializes in SEO and editorial content, website management, and digital marketing.

I have more than 15 years of content creation, digital marketing, and customer service experience, in fields ranging from hotel management to large furniture retailers to a theme-park-inspired apparel business.

Before I branched out on my own with eight&south, I spent 5 years as the content strategist, copywriter, & SEO director for three large food blogs and the communications director & client support specialist for a virtual assistant agency — all simultaneously.

I also have a BA in Theatre & Communications, an MBA in Marketing (from LSU – Geaux Tigers!), and various certifications for digital marketing and SEO.

Besides being the owner, operator, designer, creator, customer support team, and marketing team behind eight&south, I’m also a fan of stand-up comedy, a hobby photographer, a lover of most-things-1970s, and an avid documentary devourer.
